Cassia has a sharp, spicy, cinnamon like aroma and for that reason can be used as a flavouring in cooking. It does have anti-bacterial, antifungal and anti-viral properties making it an excellent choice to enhance the immune system and keep the body germ free. Due to its strong aroma, diffusing isn’t recommended as it can irritate the mucus membranes. Can be taken in veggie caps if required during cold and flu season.
Dilution required. This is a hot oil and should never be used on the skin without dilution. Avoid during pregnancy.
