Myrrh is a warm, woody, earthy aroma that has superb anti-infectious, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and anti-tumour properties. It is gentle on the mucous membranes and exceptional for ulcers. Myrrh is a uterine stimulate and promotes mensturation, painful periods and can be used in prolonged and difficult labour during childbirth. Balancing for the thyroid and is useful for weeping wounds, stretch marks and digestive issues. In history, it was used for sore throats, syphillis, cancer and improving the skin. Aromatically, Myrrh is very uplifting.
